Updated again – 11/6/2019 : Had an excellent treatment date with them – took three services and had an amazing experience. They have seemed to have quickly solved all the problems I had faced a week before and they made it truly special. Nothing was complimentary and I paid for the revisit which was good (I didn’t want it to feel like they owed me anything free!). The service of the massage team was perfect. The best I have ever had – probably beat Taj experiences too! The manicure and pedicure post that was excellent too. They even made me some of the best masala tea ever – it seems they have a stove and they made it fresh. All in all – worth my money for sure and with all the improvements they made within a week of my first visit I can now happily recommend them again.

OLD Review post interaction with Owners. Have removed certain parts though true, were discussed over the phone and did not need to be left here thereafter. Have also upgraded 2 star to 3 star – on blind trust and verbal promise over the phone.

The 3/10 was so powerful it damaged the whole rating. Special credit to Mukesh my perfect stylist and Zubair from the Chandigarh team !

One thing is clear if you build on Armedia And Headmaster brand – you must not allow rude and insulting managers spoil a very impressive setup which includes visual design and notice for detail and excellent stylists join with bad and rude managers. Learn from the Taj way or the Leela way! Nupur embarrassed me in front of another customer and split me and my wife to two rooms though I was invited to have my services with my wife by the Chandigarh team. Instead of apologising she got angry with senior stylist Mukesh who has been with brand for six years And has been excellent !

I am quite clear that I would be more than happy to try again and stick to them once they get these things right and focus on all customers equal policy (though they have created a special VIP / Diamond area for which the conditions are still not very clear).

They need to improve the process. The visual entry makes you feel like you have entered a Taj Hotel or Spa and the service of asking and offering tea and water is super. Training needs a bit of touch with server unable to identify between Chandigarh team member and guest and the manager cum stylist Nupur needs to improve her attitude otherwise whatever great change they are bringing she will ruin once the team leaves Chandigarh.

My next visit is when they replace or fix the problem not till then even though the stylists were perfect. I am willing to pay for quality but expect to get pampered by nice humble people. Instead we got insulted for being in an area that I was invited to by some one else. No at all part of the Headmaster experience we expected. Mukesh was the stylist I selected myself from past reviews and he was indeed super ! Just imagine me cutting to 3 stars for one person – that’s how bad an otherwise excellent experience went.

I hope to be invited for a redo in the near future and hope to be able to give a five star review soon too!

Update – Received a call from one of the partner/owners. I have removed bits of my over-detailed review and stronger opinions to keep it simpler. I will be happy to bump the review to 4 or 5 stars in the future when I really experience the improvements in future visits (if any).

Almost all negative reviews in months have been her and this is no different. Her ego doesn’t allow her to say sorry or admit a mistake that everyone else in the team including the visiting Chandigarh team agreed should never have happened. Story short : she is influencing the local ownership team being an old employee and is untouchable it seems or acts like she doesn’t care. Even the senior-most stylist Mukesh bhai apologised and confirmed there were certain issues in process but failed to reassure it would fix without major overhaul. Now whether that is the old management teams job (names of original ownership team is not being posted as they are very respected family members of Gujarat and I personally don’t want to bother them over my experience) Or Headmaster is unknown to me.

I am willing to pay for quality but expect to get pampered by nice humble people and not ladies who shown off with their Michael Kors purses and iPhone and AirPods which she made very clear she owned and displayed – not at all part of the Headmaster experience we expected. Mukesh was the stylist I selected myself from past reviews and he was indeed super ! Just imagine me cutting 3 stars for one person – that’s how bad an otherwise excellent experience went.
